Your 9N short code should look like this where xxxxxxxxxx is your 10 digit number & "company name" is the name that you want to send .
Nsxxxxxxxxxxz"Company Name " & it needs to point at 50:Main
In order to perform a Link transfer for a CCR external transfer you must add the
special character # before the telephone number. For example, the telephone
number would look like: # 5551111 #
where:
# instructs Norstar Voice Mail to use the incoming line to perform the transfer7
5551111 is the...
How do you change the time on an IPO that is only provisioned with 7316 sets & digital cards? I know how to do do it with user rights using Avaya sets but I can't find a time & date setting after giving 7316 sets the proper user rights.
If you don't have the resistor just wire an analog phone in parallel off of the analog extension port & leave the phone off hook with the handset diconnected. Works great for me.
Sounds to me that the target line that is assigned to that extention is in the same night service as the line that is controling your AA night service. Try taking the control off of that target line and set it to none.
Thanks everything was perfect after we did the uninstall & than re-installed it. There was also a spot to clear the cache as I could still see the old version as a choice when I re-installed it.It was not the ignition process that I had to do after the re-install but rather just had to input the...
Upgraded UCM Module to service pack 4(ucm_9.0.400-7) yesterday & am having issues with one x portal. My question is can you just uninstall the One X Portal App & than re-install it for a fresh ignition process? Will this have any effect on Voice mail?
Go into resources & look at how the Bus for that card is provisioned . The are numbered i,2.3.& 4 starting with 1 at the bottom. Make sure that it is provisioned for a 32 card. If it is provisioned properly it is probably a bad card.
IPOclueless, I have the trouble on both DS16A & 30A modules as well as the TCM8. We have reported this to AVAYA & are still waiting for a fix. Sounds to me that there are enough of us experiencing the trouble that AVAYA should be helping us out with a fix. Is there anybody here that actually...
D3DUDE, Sorry I missed this post. I would not hold your breath on getting this fixed. Avaya just keeps pumping out new releases & I don't even think they support or care to support 7.0(36) which I am up to now. Their solution is to get customers to spend more money to upgrade to newer releases...
I am having the same trouble with my 7.0(36). It started when I was told to upgrade from 7.0(23) to 7.0(27) in order to fix a hissing problem on the M series sets. It fixed the hissing & started the endless ringing problem. I am now up to 7.0(36) with no fix as of yet.
I found this in the read me of system patch 12.

The math on your config has you with a possible 44 Dns. 12 keycoded on the main cabinet & a 32 card in one of the expansion cabinets. Each ATA that you use will mean one less 7316E set. So if you are planning on having 20 ATA's that really cuts down on the digital sets. It would also take one...
