Ok, so I checked the workstation. It is on the correct domain and after a reboot I still couldn't set permissions for anyone but user accounts on the computer. None of the other domains would show up. Cheers

gavm99, I think that was actually the problem! Once I added Domain Users to the share folder, the account could access the share without authenticating with another username. I am completely new to server administration and I really appreciate the help. Cheers
