no tones after 5-10 minutes. If the hard drive dies, does it affect the fiber output on the NAM? I"ve seen NAMs with hard drive. It usually stops with an error code. The weird thing is that the HD lights up and I can hear it spinning when booting up.
I have a customer with a Rel01 V3G Fiber NAM. I stopped working a few days ago. When trying to acess the feature codes it says feature unavailable. I rebooted it and it beeped a couple of times then ran through some codes on the display. After a few minutes the display read 00 with a green dots...
Also noticed that only ports 1 and 2 are active. Port 3 and 4 are inactive even though they are connected. In port status port 3 & 4 are unequipped. Can this cause problems down loading reports?
I have a customer with a call pilot 3.1 with Call center reporting. They can access their IPview and access real time reporting but they can't get reports. The reports come with all of the values being zeros. I checked the connection in admin and in connection status it says that it has 100%...
I'm installing a new hard drive into a BCM50 1.0. I'm trying to restore a back up into the system. I'm getting an error saying that the "rules delete". The restore quits. vI defaulted to try to make it work. It still won't restore. Do I need to patch it up before I restore? Thanks for any help.
I tried a reset. It didn't respond. The status light stays solid yellow and the power light solid green. Then they both go solid yellow, then status light goes out. thne back to solid green power and solid yellow status. I think it tring to intialize.
Also I changed the power supply with a spare one that I had. No power light is solid green and staus lifgt is solid yellow. It is stuck there and won't come up. Maybe a bad hard drive? This thing is getting worst!
Take a look at the manual. The files have to be wav files nad no more than 5meg each. I usually rip a CD with wimamp using the lowest setting available. You activate the BCMamp in unified manager.
I have a customer with a flashing green power light on the phone system. The status light is solid green. They had the phone system go down in the morning and they rebooted( uplugged the power supply). I could connect with the element manager. Could this have bad power supply? Thanks for any help!
Would this fix work on RCC server using a call pilot 3.1? It seems to be a easier fix than upgrading the call pilot, CCRS and reporting client. Do I need to reboot the server after changing the common file. Thanks for the wisdom!
I couldn't locate the RCC software 2.4.358.6.61 (Java 1.6). I located all of the other updates at the Nortel site. I was looking at the release notes for the CP 31.10.31.22 update. Is the RCC software part of this update? Has anybody updated the software and got the menu to show 2009? Thanks for...
Went to site and checked the Java. It was 4.1 release. I deleted the call center reporting software and the rebooted the machine. I reinstalled the software and rebooted it. Everything is now working! I think that when PC was powered down and then started up, any update in it was installed...
I had a customer who has a MICS 6.1 and a call pilot 3.1. They are using call reporting on a XP computer. The Power was turned off on the PC. When the PC was powered up the ipview stopped working. Checked all of the setting and everything was good. I deleted the call reporting program and...
Found the system ID on te botton of the chassis. Retrived the keycodes from Nortel. Will install the hard drive and program and do a back up! Thanks for all your help!
Sounds like I need to replace the hard drive. Is there any way to get the system ID from the cabinet? Or will need to install the hard drive and let it boot to check the sys ID. I want to check if the BCM is registered with Nortel for key code retrival. Thanks for the help!
