BCM50 1.0 Restore

I'm installing a new hard drive into a BCM50 1.0. I'm trying to restore a back up into the system. I'm getting an error saying that the "rules delete". The restore quits. vI defaulted to try to make it work. It still won't restore. Do I need to patch it up before I restore? Thanks for any help.

Or you trying to restore onto a blank drive or did you image the drive first?.

I purchased a new hard drive with an rel 1.0 installed on it. It's a direct replacement for a BCM50 1.0.

Add The Latest SU patch First.
Then do your restore.
It should be ok after this.

I had the same problem last week when replacing a hard drive,you need to patch first then restore.
