On the MFM module there are two sets of shorting bars. One set has 3 and the other has 4. These are the settings for them. The MFM simulates an SAA (Supplemental Alert Adapter) like the older Merlin had. To test it....set it up like it is to be used at the customer location. lg
Try setting the forwarding delay to 1 instead of 0 for x31.....or in your lab set a station with primary coverage for the forwarding set and see if the lab set still forwards okay. I think the feature interaction has to do with the primary coverage of the console. lg
You may want to confirm the setting in the voice mail that pertains to mailbox digit length. It defaults to two digits and if you have setup the mailboxes with 3 or 4 digits then this could be the problem. lg
From the book:
Mean Time between Failures
Configured with 10 lines and 20 stations
With NO PHONES (kinda stupid but that what it says)
Merlin Legend with MLX modules: 11.86 years
Merlin Magix with TDL modules: 17.42 years
Configured with 20 lines and 50 stations
Merlin Legend with MLX...
TTT what you're saying makes sense I haven't found anything in writing that states the auth code can't be the same as the extension. The auth code won't show up on the ext info but it would show if he prints the auth codes list. I didn't get that he was using the auth code(s) prior to trying...
Print your system setup and on page one it will show you if the autobackup is on and whether it is set for daily, weekly or just turned off. It is recommended you have it do a weekly backup.
Since you have programmed so much for your additions I would recommend you do a manual backup to your...
I am not aware of any setting in calling groups that would allow more rings before calls go to the next agent. Now from what you have posted...I think you are talking about the auto logout setting on the group (30 seconds). The only way to speed this up is have each agent "log out" as they...
First off I want spit a feather and apologize to TTT for saying he was wrong with his post....I found the info memphisribs posted about both codes working on page 391 of the Magix Feature Reference manual...and after he posted his test results with the Magix R4 and Intuity I retested with my...
I have been in it a little while....and I have also had to spit feathers from eating crow. And yet I still learn something everyday about the systems. I am old school but then I have said that before on some of my posts.
I can also tell you that I have a Magix 2.0 benched here in my...
No questions....but I disagree.
I agree when extensions are added to the VMI calling group the trunk to trunk transfer is activated...as is the ARS restictions etc. for the ports. But I don't think this is what allows calls to be transferred to extensions that have the RCF feature activated...
One other thing I forgot to mention is...trunk to trunk transfer has nothing to do with this feature working...
ivtrook....this is something else you can confirm. lg
ivtrook...I stand by what I posted. What TTT has posted is EXACTLY right...EXCEPT the *33 part. Even his comment on the bottom of his post is correct. I recommend you try the method I posted before you waste your time.
TTT...the reason you are wrong is the customer is doing this on site not...
The reason x6333 is not forwarding is with the dial string you have posted. If you are indeed dialing what you are showing then it will never forward. You should advise your customer to dial:
To forward:
Speaker on and dial.
#806333#...steady dialtone
#3391847NNNNNNN#...will hear confirmation...
Check the line assignments for the AA's. By default the lines are assigned to AA1. But since the VMS is used the other company could have assigned the lines to AA2, AA3 or AA4. It is in the same area you are recording the day and night greeting. lg
I have never done this and can't say it would work.....but, if I was going to try to do it I would use a calling group in site A. For the example I'll stick with x298 and x299.
In site A:
1. Build a routing pattern in the UDP (to be used for 298) to send it to switch B and strip 3 digits...
