thread940-1791885
Found the thread referenced above with no answer. Just wondering if anyone knew of a way or a device that'd light an external light when an IP set was off hook. This is for use in a 911 dispatch center where the IP Office are the admin phones next to their 911 system. They...
I have a client with VM Pro 9.0.0.0.........0.0.0.0.0.
Their VMail to email quit working and after the usual "nothing changed here" I drug it out of the IT guy that they'd disabled TLS 1.0 at almost the very moment my logs showed that it quit working. Go Figure.
He states they still have TLS...
Gunnaro, that worked great!! I'm definitely going to put that in my book of tricks in case I ever get this request again.
Very simple to do the way you explained it. Great post.
Thanks
I have a customer that would like to have 4 or 5 prerecorded messages that can be changed remotely over the phone. All greetings will have the same Callflow so all they need to do is change what the active greeting is from a list.
I'd like to do this thru a menu that basically says to activate...
Thanks Telecomboy. Changed the port to 25 and it started working like a champ. I'd set it to 465 since that's how it's set up in Outlook. So glad Avaya got this working with servers requiring authentication.
Has any one else gotten this to work with Gmail? I'm not having any luck.
Using smtp.gmail.com for my server address
Port 465
From Address: XXXX@gmail.com
Checked USE STARTTLS
Checked Server Requires Auth
Entered good credentials.
Monitor looks like it's contacting and connecting to the...
Voxvar, I'm having the same issue intermittently on a R9. It starts working again if the User toggles Auto Answer button off/on using the AA button. Have you found a fix by chance?
I have a customer who needs the ability to fax outbound from a fax server with a PRI interface thru the IP Office. Incoming works fine, but I'm having trouble making the IP Office receive a 9+ call from the fax server and route out the local PSTN PRI. I have anything from the fax on the Incoming...
I have a customer that doesn't like the way the Call Log condenses missed calls from a single # and only shows the last call time and then shows how many times that # has called. Anybody ever found a way to get around that so a User can see all of the individual times a certain # has called?
I don't have a whole lot of experience with the licensing rules on a 412 and hoped someone here could help.
Have a customer with a 412 chassis and a dual T1 (PRI) in slot A. Occasionally they'll get a Service error stating they have exceeded the maximum # of channel licenses.
Did the dual T1...
Just an update for you guys. Avaya has acknowledged this issue and design is looking into a fix. Some 96XX sets also experienced the issue in Avaya's lab.
You have to reload it from scratch if you want to change it. Pay close attention to your licenses to determine which server should be your Primary. And certainly make sure you have the correct network addresses to put in it the 1st time. Once they're in there it's a terrible process to change them.
I've upgraded 2 IPO's to R9 and my 16xx series phones are randomly rebooting. One is a server edition and the other is a stand alone V2. It occurs most often when logging a set in/out or hot desking to another location. Anybody else seen similar issues?
