Is there a way to use the Corporate Directory by using
a LDAP server without using OTM. The user doesn't want
to use OTM because they also use it for call accounting
and are afraid it might affect how their billing is set up
and they want changes to be dynamic.
Upgraded Opt 11c from 25.40 to 4.5 now when someone
call forwards their cell phone to their DID on their phone
when it CFNA's to Call Pilot it repeats the CLID of the
cell phone and the person does not subscribe to the system.
Tried putting the cell phone # in as a Extension DN but get the same...
On a m2317 phone on a ST rls. 19 is there a way to make a
DN that is an appearance on that phone (key 3) ring differently than the Prime DN. The DN on key 3 is a Prime
DN on another phone(2317).
Hi, I've was looking at this thread and have not seen you
post how many hours of storage you have, I have seen alot
of Opt 11 M. Mail's that only had 5 hours of storage, with
55 mailboxes (5 hr= 300 min) that may not be near enough.
Also I'm not sure that auto deletetion of unread messages

wrap connectors on the back, I am not having much luck

If you have Meridian Mail or Call Pilot build a mail box
for the key 1 DN and give it an extension DN of the Key 0
DN, if Octel do the same thing and give it an alias of Key 0 DN.
Are the trunks on a T-1? If so, it might be that the carrier isn't giving you dial tone. Sometimes they don't
unless you tell them, most PBX's are set up to provide the
2nd dial tone, but you are not using BARS (AC1 or AC2) so your carrier
needs to provide the dial tone.

Just installed Call Pilot 4.0 and have IVR and Access ports
defined and aquired in Symposium 5.0
When Give IVR or Play voice Segments I am hearing 3 ringback
tones before it plays the prompts but there is no Wait or
Give Ringback statements in the script. How do I eliminate
the ringback.

How many network groups do you have? Are all the Music trunks in the same group? Do you have music broadcast?
If you are not using music broadcast you have to have a
music trunk from each route in each network group for all
trunks in each group to get MOH from every MOH route.
Just installed a new CP 4.0 703t, when I call the CDN
for Voice Messaging it answers, but I get no voice prompts.
What could I be missing? Everything looks like it is
set up right.
