I have an 81c that has one existing music route that I have built 2 more. These 2 new routes were built identicle to the existing routes. I used an unused Universal Trunk card and split the card to have 4 ports to one route and 4 to the other. One route I get dead air and the other I get a busy tone. Where did I go wrong and where do I need to start looking?

Thanks Folks!!

Did you connect it to a Music source?

Are they all using the same music source?

Sorry I didn't add that. All 3 are going to different music sources and yes they are connected.

Do you mean FIJI (Fibre Junctor Interface) in the Network Groups ?

Do you have MIRAN or another Music Source or you may even have broadcast Package you could post your Route Data so we can help?

Cheers!!

Check your music source at your UTC punchdowns, use a butt set and ensure you have music at your TN's before doing anything else.

how are you accessing the music? acod can be blocked several ways.. if your trying to use those for acd music source then you need a trunk for each group. i would build an acd with one station and test my music route that way.. but make sure your acd set is in the same group as the music trunk.

WE are accessing via ACOD from a phone that is setup with MTA in the class of service and TGAR set to 0.

Yes, FIJI (Fibre Junctor Interface)

We reversed the polarity of the cables and was able to fix the dead air issue on the one route. We also totaly nuked all programming and rebuilt the route and re punched the TN's and we still are getting busy signal when dialing the ACOD for the other route. I have compaired all programming with the working routes and they all are identicle.

How many network groups do you have? Are all the Music trunks in the same group? Do you have music broadcast?
If you are not using music broadcast you have to have a
music trunk from each route in each network group for all
trunks in each group to get MOH from every MOH route.

did you x1 at the targ of the route?
