I'm having good success integrating a 250 to CallManager using an analog gateway (VG248) and treating the CallManager as if it were a Centrex. Call data comes across as SMDI data across a serial port, the voice path goes across analog lines, and everything works fine.
I'd recommend using SMDI...
I'm pretty sure an Aria restart is not necessary either, just a restart of the LAN card. I'd check the manual to be sure.
Nope, doesn't sound like you have the maint level. That's a shame because you get some very useful commands.
No reboot required, if you're doing any digital networking to other systems of course that won't work while the LAN card is down.
Also, you will need to be direct-connected to the system or dialed in via modem. You can't use a telnet session to take down the LAN card :)
The CDLAN is immediate...
You'll need to do the following:
1. Log in with the maint level password
2. @CDLAN to courtesy down the LAN card
3. @up to update mode
4. .m sys 234 to change sys param 234 which holds the gateway address
5. .exit back to @-prompt mode
6. @CULAN to bring up the new LAN card.
This will change...
If you have the LAN backup feature along with a LAN card in the system, you can do the backup to an FTP server from the host system and then restore on the target system.

If the PRI change took place about a week ago, can you include some trace information from then?
@LOG PR CPT
(blah blah blah)

will start the trace log running from 14 Jun at midnite.

What kind of integration are you using (ATTIC with LIC cards, APIC cards, Enhanced In-Band)? Also, how is 9399 configured in the PBX?
I'd be interested to see traces of direct external and direct internal calls both before and after your PRI changeover.

Also, the dialog box would use a proportional screen font to display the data. Text editors like Notepad, UltraEdit, etc. typically use monospace fonts. That will throw off the alignment.
Avaya has a Message Networking product (next gen of Interchange) that acts as a hub for Avaya-branded voicemail systems and other devices that can use AMIS or VPIM/SMTP networking. This device can house distribution lists that encompass all connected devices. Build a bulletin mailbox on each...
What is the PBX/integration type you're connected to? Is there a possibility of swapping line pairs to see if the problem follows the analogue pair?
Does the system answer at all, or ring forever? If the system answers, how many rings does it take? What does the caller hear, if anything?

I used to have a Procomm script that automated service bit activation for Octel 250/350 platforms. Through the years and multiple PC changes, I've lost the script. Does anyone have a similar script, or know the DTMF tones used to set the service bit?
Thanks, but that won't help me. Valid users on the system would be locked if they fat-fingered their password even one time during the time that Consec. Inv. Att. is set to 1. I appreciate the thought, but it won't work for the situation I'm in.

I have an initiative to find and remove unused mailboxes from the 264 Intuity Audix systems in our environment. As part of the process, I need to lock the mailbox for 2 weeks prior to removal. If a mistake were made and the mailbox is required, the user would call in a trouble ticket and the...
That setting would be in the PBX, not the voicemail. Check the coverage path for the user and the number of rings before going to coverage (voicemail) is there.
Could be a problem with the line card in the PBX...I remember seeing this kind of problem with In-band DTMF integrations when dial tone generators failed on the PBX side. Have you tried changing out the line card in your G3?
