    Create Outlook plugin

Our e-mail is on a secure network - I have to insert a header and footer based on the user's choice. The firewall doesn't do the scanning - we have a mail gateway that does that - poor choice of words on my part. Upgrading to 2007 is not an option for me right now.

    Create Outlook plugin

What I want to add is a classification to the body of the message. There are firewalls at various locations that look for certain strings in the message - we want to be able to add the appropriate ones, depending on what the user wants.

    Create Outlook plugin

I am looking to create a small plugin for Outlook that would add an optional header and footer to a message after the user clicks "Send", but I can't figure out where to start. I want a selection box to appear with different choices, and based on the choice to add some specific lines to the...

    Account Lockout not happenning

I've checked those - according to gpresult and rsop.msc the policy is there, it just doesn't seem to be enforced.

    Account Lockout not happenning

I am having a strange problem here. I have set an Account Lockout policy in the Default Domain Policy on the DC. I rebooted my workstation to make sure that things get applied. I have defined a test account to verifyu if the lockout is happenning - it doesn't get locked no matter how many...

Any more ideas for me to try?

SCCM 2007 SP1 Reporting Point error

Simon, I tried this - I gave Everyone Remote Launch and Remote Activation rights in My Computer. The SMS Reporting Users group already had the needed rights. It didn't fix the error problem. But - I added the non-Domain Admin users to the SMS Reporting Users group - that fixed it. Now my...

The OS is Server 2003 R2 SP2. We have MSSQL 2005 SP1 installed on this server just for SCCM.

SCCM 2007 SP1 Reporting Point error

Nope - added Everyone with Read & Execute to the file mentioned (msvbvm60.dll), then rebooted the server - still gave the same error.

SCCM 2007 SP1 Reporting Point error

I have installed SCCM SP1 on my production machine, and I am having an issue with the Reporting point. When I am logged into the server as a Domain Admin and I try to open the Reporting Point Web Page, I get the title at the top, the description in the right pane, but no reports in the left...

    Install service

Program file (rsopprov.exe) - yes. Registry key (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WEindows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtentions\CLSID) - no. I went through all the folders in the key mentioned (since they are all CLSID names) - nothing. Is all that is needed is to register the rsopprov.exe?

    Install service

I read through it - I am looking to install the service. I can run RSoP, but only in Logging mode - Planning mode is greyed out. I have access to some machines that don't have this build of the image on them - they have the Resultant Ser Of Policy Provider service, and can run RSoP in Planning...

    Install service

We have an issue here where a service is missing from our workstations. We get the image of the OS from somewhere else, and it seems that the "Resultant Set of Policy Provider" is missing from all of them. Is there a way that I can add this after the fact? And what would be preferable is...

    Change Terminal Services Mode

OK, I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, and rebooted - same problem. Looking at my other servers, Terminal Server is not installed at all. Any other ideas? Thanks, Brian

    Change Terminal Services Mode

Can this be done through the Add/Remove Programs item, and without having to rebuild the server?

    Change Terminal Services Mode

I have a Windows 2003 backup Domain Controller and someone switched the terminal Services mode from Remote Administration to Application mode, and I can't find a way to switch it back. Does anyone know how this can be done? Thanks, Brian

    Deleting Outlook 2003 Profile

We have a large rollout coming here with a complete re-imaging of all the workstations - when that happens this is a moot point! Thanks for your help, Brian
