Just a note, we have an active\passive cluster but while all indications are that the files are backed up on the physical and virtual nodes we had to define individual subclients rather than leaving the default in order to be able to see the files to restore them. Commvault are still trying to...
Hi, I have to reboot the commserv all the time, just suspend everything and then reboot.
The only problems we have is with the Data Migrator for our File server. If that isn't killed then we have to restart the services for our media agent on the file server a couple of times.
I have been doing the log and ERSet shuffle with CV on this issue for over two months now - my 136PV library will not recognise any tapes as cleaning media, even when the automatic recognitation is set off and it is imported as a cleaning media, I went through 2 new ones before I was informed...
Hi,
I am trying to migrate a folder from our file server, using Data Migrator, which contains a number of .msg files. The job runs fine and all the files are stubbed but then they reappear within a few minutes. The messages have all been deleted from email accounts and are not being opened by...

We have also install Trend Office scan on our file server and since then we are unable to run Data Migrator jobs without the file server crashing. What version currently works with Data Migrator, we are on Trend Office Scan 7.3 release 8.320.1003.
Any help would be gratefully received

However, the Scratch Pool after a while cannot recognise the spare tapes and issues an error that there are not enough spare...
Ensure before you go to the training that everyone is at the same level and play around with the system for a while. We had never seen the product and had no idea what the trainers were talking about - its a whole new world of backups and you need to have your questions ready.
We ended up...
There seems to be an issue with Data Migrator stubbing files that have the % character in the name. It hangs the job completely at the stubbing process. Has anyone come across a method of excluding this character from the migration job. The system won't accept *%* as a valid filter.
