Im going to migrate our Cisco2811 gateways from H323 to MGCP. The two Gateways have 2 Pri E1 each and are connected to Callmanager4.x (1Pub+1Sub). We have 1Route List with 1Route Group that contain the two Gateways.

We are using CCM 4.1(3)(one Pub and one Sub) with H323 Cisco 2811 Gateway (2 gateways with 4 E1 Pri links).
We want now to migrate from H323 to MGCP.

find all unassigned DNs. now you should also see DNs configured in the Automatic DNs Range. Delete one of them and try to boot a phone, if it works you should delete them all.
Im planning to set up CCM on a PC using VMWARe for testing purpose only. The question im asking is:
1) should i consider something bevor connecting that pc with CCM on it to our Network which has 2 Callmanger in Production (1 Sub, 1 Pub)? for instance enabling a DHCP server would cause problem...
Go to you your Gateway on the CCM Web Admin (Device->Gateway) and scroll to Inbound Calls->Significant Digits->select 3. Save. The IOS should then strip the 3 left digits and forward it to the CCM.
