I am from a very impoverished nation in Africa and have no resource or means to get hold of a Cisco Call Manager 4.x or 5 so that I can run it on my Linux/Windows PC.

Can anybody kindly suggest or help me to get one - provide alink from where I can download. With a lot of difficulty and struggle primarily due to my financial constraints, I have passed the CCIE Voice written exam and wanted to proceed for lab preparation.

Any kind souls?

Best Rgds/Sam

Yes ... definitely. So far it has been my kind employers supporting me. I am just a NW Admin in a small trading company.

And you really think for a CCIEv Lab, you just need a CCM running in a PC with VMware will be all u need to pass?

im gonna love this joke people.

I dont know what JayD77 thinks of himself...probably SuperNerd.....well I have the sponsorship for remote lab access from my employers .. just wanted to install and play around with the Call Manager and I work for a global telecom player in Southern Africa so I need not learn VoIP from people like you - I think you should see a SHRINK !!! :)

FYI> I do have a CCIE in R&S..this is my dual qual

My bad, i didnt understand what you asked for. im Sorry.
A shrink is good for all people taking CCIEv. Its hell :)

The best way to get a CCM image is making an image (with Ghost) of your Production Callmanager and then play with it using VMWare. Unity is available in Cisco.com (see my other post).

Cheers.
