Based on the book, you should be able to install LANCTE without TAPI, and no error. Let us know once you did.

Avaya guide mention, LANCTE can be installed on 64bit Windows, but TAPI is not supported, that is why you had the error.

I had same confusion, one customer with BCM50 R5 UM works on Office2010 no problem, one customer with BCM400 R4 UM works only 2007 not 2010, only MWI shows in the task bar, but no CallPilot running in Outlook. Both of them patched to the latest, and both UM software is the same version.

A BCM400 R4.0 customer replaced his WLAN 2210 set with a 6120 set, but the new set has very bad voice quality. When you talk to someone, the other end will always hear choppy voice, but you end is always fine. The signal is OK. Changed codec did not make any change, I think the product doesn't...
We're going to upgrade this BCM to R3.0, we just could not wait for Primus, they did not give us the time line, what a damn good carrier. We have to do something to move forward, the customer is upset for this thing.

Thx Cook, that what I thougt. We did callede Primus BUSINESS TECH Support on Sat., and they only work Mon to Fri. Anyway we created a ticket with them but 3 days past and no answer yet. That is Primus!

I had a exactly same case before, I called teh Nortel got their engineer login the Linux and delete some files, and modified some files, don't remember the details.

Hi SD, even though I had to replace several my our customer's Nortel Contivity into other make's VPN device e.g. SnapGear... The issue with remote IP sets lost dial tone happened a lot if we use Contivitys building VPN tunnel.
