TCSI17,
That sounded promising until I looked through the peer profile and it does not appear as an option under 4.2 although it does show in one of our upgraded systems.
Thanks,
Dale
In looking through the logs, the entry below (one of many) appears to be related to the trunk failures.

Is there some way to tell the MCD that the SIP trunks are down when the proxy server is down or at the very least is there some way to get these calls to route alternately when the SIP peers are unresponsive?
Thanks,
Dale
What am I missing? Here is the scenario...
ARS Dig Dialed = 91 + 10
Route List 1
1. SIP Peer1
2. SIP Peer2
3. SIP Peer3
4. SIP Peer4
5. TDM Trunk Group1 (PRIs)
We lost power to the SIP MBG which takes down all 4 SIP peers. This should have still left the PRIs as a viable destination but...
Just an FYI. I am using the bluetooth module on a 5330 with a Jabra Evolve 65 Dual and a new Libratone Q-Adapt On-Ear headset and it works just fine with both. Make sure you are on MVB 5.x or higher. To go off-hook you need to hold the answer/mute button down for about a second instead of just a...
We are based in Santa Barbara, California with teleworkers scattered all around the world. We have 1 user in Amsterdam who has been using the same Teleworker phone for a few years now without any issues. Last month, his ISP (German Telekom) switched him over to IPv6 and now his phone no longer...
We are slowly migrating from a CS1000 to a Cisco UCM platform and currently have everything passing through the Nortel and then redirected to the CUCM using DSCs pointed to QSIG trunks between the two. The only person left on the Nortel is the operator. My question is, if I have NIT1 (Customer...
I have an Interalia XMU+ IVR with enhanced Hybrid analog cards currently running of a Nortel Meridian connected to standard 500 (analog) ports. I am trying to move this over to our new Cisco UC platform's VG224 gateways but am unable to get the IVR to recognize calls coming in. Does anyone have...
Thanks; That sounds simple enough. I just wasn't sure about redirecting the 0 itself but if at least one of those options works then I should be able to swing it all over quick enough that no-one will notice but the operators :-)

We have a CS1000 (5.5) and a Cisco CCM connected together via tie lines and are slowly migrating users from the Nortel to the Cisco. My question is what would be the best way to move the operators over to the new system and make sure that callers who zero out of any menus or receive redirect to...
Is it possible to route all calls that begin with *8 to another system connected via PRI trunks? I am currently using DSCs for several numbers that I am routing to this other system via RLI 21 and would like to do the same with any numbers that match *8XXXXX. The * needs to pass to the other...
We are currently running CallPilot 5.00 on a large CS1000 rel 5.5 and are trying to migrate just the voicemail piece to Cisco Unity leaving CallPilot applications running for our small call center needs at the moment. My question is what do I need to be careful of and what do I need to change to...
I am still new to this but a couple things to try. 1. Can they call the 7941 from the 7911 directly? 2. Try setting the "Incoming" and "Outgoing" restrictions to none on the extension you are trying to forward from just to see if it may be a restrictions issue.

I am quite new to CUCME and we are still trying to get our first site set up per users wishes. We came from a Nortel Meridian and the users have had multiple lines on their phones for years (Their extensions plus the extensions of others in their dept.) which they would "cover" as needed. We are...
