We are slowly migrating from a CS1000 to a Cisco UCM platform and currently have everything passing through the Nortel and then redirected to the CUCM using DSCs pointed to QSIG trunks between the two. The only person left on the Nortel is the operator. My question is, if I have NIT1 (Customer Data Block) pointed at an extension on the Cisco via DSC will all calls going to "0" as well as the three LDNs set up under LDN_DATA forward? Second question, will the console programming stay in night 1 once it is unplugged?

Dale

The 0 calls should go to the NIT1 just like the trunk calls. As soon as you unplug the handset the console will go into nights

Will is stay in nights once the console itself is unplugged?

Thank you very much...
I will remove the LDNs and set them as DSCs and then point NIT1 to one of them. :)

At least you can mimic the Nortel PBX phones pretty well with Cisco sets, thats what they did here at Walgreens, they even added the I/C 2 digit intercom feature......heck, you can even upload Nortel ring tones to the Cisco phones.....
