    Nortel 3X8 phones reboot

HI guys, got a client with a 3X8, the phones are rebooting when they try to handle more than one call (line 1, and line 2). For example, when on a call using line 1, and line 2 begins to ring, if you put line 1 on hold to answer line 2, the phone reboots. All phones on the system are doing...

    Call Pilot question

ptstechnician. By FNA, do you mean call forward no answer? I take it your going the simple route i asked about earlier, which is setting the CFNA to about 4 rings, then voicemail? But since you are not using the AA at all with this route, does that mean i would have to set that set to be the...

    Call Pilot question

Hey guys. I got a customer with a call pilot, i actually set it up over a year ago. They now now have a new line on the system and want that line to have a voicemail box. What is the best way to achieve this? I would be able to figure it out if i could carry a laptop down there, but i dont have...

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

Thanks guys. One other question. For the fiber, i need to let the guys who are running the fiber know what type of connectors i need them to put on the ends to that i can plug into the mck extenders. What type of connectors should i tell them to prepare?

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

Rikrogers. I take it "Yes", means that i need the MCK extenders.

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

Ok i got the price but i still have a question (about $1000). My understanding is that the mck extenders are used to allow the signal to travel a certain distance. But if the distance (in my case 800 feet) is not too long, then do i still need the extenders?

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

I met with the customer today. they want to use the fiber. I will need to order MCK module extenders, but i can't seem to find a price on the net, can someone give me a general price range at what i'm looking at? I will call my supplier but from the looks of it, they may not carry them.

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

So do you need to use the MCK module extenders even if it is only 800 feet apart? Also, is there any other hardware i would need?

    Adding remote 0x16 to Mics

Hey guys. I have a customer who currently has a Mics with only 40 phones on it in the main building. They have another building 800 Feet away and would like to extend the pbx to the new building. I had asked this question months ago in this thread thread799-1366239 but it has been locked. The...

"Message for you" displaying on phone

Hey guys. A customer with a MICS has one of their T7208s displaying "Message For you" on the display but there are not voice mail messages for that extension. I checked the voicemail myself and there is nothing there. Does anyone know what this can be?

    Installing ATA on MICS

Well it is a conference unit, basically like a speakerphone so the users in a boardroom can all hear what the other party is saying and also speak back. I don't think they will be connecting more than two parties to the call. Thanks for the help.

Mics - schedule phones to ring after 4:30

I know that in manual mode you have to invoke the night mode by pressing the f871 but all i'm asking is after you have pressed it, how do you turn it back off? Just hit f871 again?

Mics - schedule phones to ring after 4:30

Exactly. So therefore in manual i should be able to press the button again and disable the feature regardless of what time it is, correct?

Mics - schedule phones to ring after 4:30

So there is no way to der activate the feature without changing time? So whats the difference between having night mode on manual or auto?

    Installing ATA on MICS

Hey guys, i am installing an ATA on a MICS for use with an analogue polycom conference unit. I assume all i need to do is put the lines in a line pool and then allow the ATA to have access to the pool. Any other things i should be looking out for while i do the install?

Mics - schedule phones to ring after 4:30

I have another question. After i program the control set with F871, can i test it during the day to make sure it works while i'm there at the customer and then turn it back off? In other words, does the feature work within the time frame the night mode has been programmed for only or can i...
