Brian, I need my vpn clients and remote sites to able to access a dmz server through an address on my internal lan. If i create a static , I can access the dmz through an internal address. The second static mapping allows me to access dmz through external. The problem is vpn clients and sites...
I have an ASA 5520 setup with both VPN clients and l2l. I have a DMZ setup with static NAT on outside and Inside. Inside clients can reach the DMZ through an internal LAN IP address that has a static map and external users can hit the DMZ via an external address. I need to enable VPN users...
I currently run 3.1.65 and everytime I try to upgrade to 3.2 it fails while transferring during offline mode. Do I need to upgrade the loader on a 406 that is not .v1 or .v2?
Any thoughts?
I have begun deploying some 4620sw Ip Phones and they work fine except for one major issue, users cannot dial into any system that needs keypad input. When they try to access external voicemail, conferencing services, or telephone banking the only the key press that is recognized is the # or *...
Thanks Janni,
What you just said describes my exact problem. I have customers complain about not getting sent to VM, because they are actually still sitting on hold.
Is this just a user training issue?
Help! My users constantly use forwarding to cell phones/home phones. When a call comes into the receptionist and they rapidly transfer the call to that user’s ext., the call is placed on hold. If they wait and listen for the phone to ring on the transfer it works fine. This does not happen...
Can I configure the SOE to also use an embedded voicemail/auto-attendant for backup? Doing some disaster recovery planning and wasn't sure how my branches would handle incoming calls if the main site was out of commission for an extended period of time.
I have posted this a few times.
Using transfer from centralized VMPRO over scn, the calls never roll back over to VM. They just ring until picked up. This is the only situtation that i can create this problem.
If call comes in via DID directly to a device on the remote side of the scn, it...
Let me update this, it is only when i transfer from VMpro over the SCN. The exetnsions themselves can call each other and leave voicemail without issue. Again, if I use assisted transfer it works fine.
I have a 401 NG small office system connected to a 406 via VPN. We use centralized VM and when a call comes into this location and you enter an extension we get a ring no answer (the actual phone does ring forever). Internally I can dial the extension and it will roll over to VM with no...
I am also having a problem with direct transfer over the scn. If the extension is not picked up it willring no answer and never get to VM. If I use assisted transfer the problem goes away. Any thoughts. Could you send me that .Bin file?
I realize the max record time is 3600 secs. I was hoping that I could ack the reg or an ini file to up this number. Has anyone else had the need to record longer conersations?
