Here is the response:
..tried as suggested. At first those extensions were using HMUSIC 0 which does not exist then I created in RCSU another HMUSIC 1 (it is not attached to a source) and I assigned all those numbers to HMUSIC 1 but when we tested users said the music on hold is still being...
Hello. We have several users in our office who have requested that when they place someone on hold that the person they place on hold does not hear on hold music.
Is there a way to set up a class of service or some other manner so that we can select which stations will use music on hold and...
I have the same problem with our IP phones that are located in very distant offices. I have not been able to figure out how to get them to re-register automatically, however, I have been able to decrease the frequency at which they lose their registration by changing these settings in the "cha...
Yes, it can. We recently done the same upgrade. In MM, auto attendants are called "caller applications" and they are programmed using a Windows based GUI. There is a bit of a learning curve, as it is very different to program vs. Audix AA's, but after about an hour tutorial (over the phone)...
4621 SW IP phone. Key is programmed as "autodial" in the PBX and user programs speed dial number via their Abr-program button.
How can the end user then completely erase the speed dial entry themselves? We seem to only be able to overwrite the existing entry with a * or other characters, but...
Thanks, but what I'm looking to do is set up an EXTERNAL HTTP server, it's a Win/2003 box. I do not wish to use the S8xxx for the firmware downloads. We have too many phones.
Need some help... I'm already familiar with using a TFTP server for 46xx firmware downloads.
How exactly do I set up an HTTPS server to do this? I do have a Win2003 server set up with IIS running, but exactly where do I put the firmware files so that the 46xx will find them?
Can you link me...
Hello All!
We are upgrading one of our offices from a Merlin Legend to a G700 (Definity Platform).

Your help is appreciated!

2) Uncheck "key system", then save.
3) Clear the form and bring up the station again. Odd yes, but you often need to bring the station up to see...
Using AMO's to do this involves many many steps. If some of your stations will logout, that is a good sign, as the feature is enabled.
Have you checked the PIN for the stations that will not log out? The PIN is on the station form, under the PIN tab. We set the PIN to be the same four digits...
I'm in the same boat as you. 15+ years on Avaya, now also administering HiPath 4000's and HiCom 300's. It's a different world, but I'll help you if I can. Feel free to drop me any questions.
Hi. I'm pretty new to the 4000, but would like to know how I can look to see the status of trunks. Our site has several PRI's in different trunk groups and some backup copper lines in another trunk group.
Would someone be able to tell me the AMO commands so that I can display a list of my...
