Well, we're using a work-around:
Rather than do a call forward, we simply used a coverage appearance button on the phone and voicemail cover is working.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
We are running 3.2.54 w/ VMPro 3.2.28.4 (centralized). Theproblem occurrs when a user at an SCN'd site calls a user at our main site who has their extension forwarded to another extension also at the main site. When called, the call will forward, but if the...
Sorry for the delay. The PRI card on the IVR side is a simple dialogics board that take a T-1 connection with framing of AMI D4.
We have made the connection to the IVR using the CO setting rather than CPE for the equipment. Avaya stateted that this should only be used in a lab situation for...
Has anyone integrated their IPOffice to a Syntellect IVR? We are in the process of doing so but are having issues with the connecting link (T-1). These IVR's have been connected to Definity systems with no issues but, as we all know, this isn't a Definity.
ccdpaladin,
Thanks for the reply. Going by the steps you laid out above was the same method used for the original setup. Unfortunately, it is only displaying the calls ringing and not the queues.
I'm trying to set up PC Wallboard to display the amount of calls in queue for huntgroups. We're on the latest 5.0.33 as well as the subcomponents. We recently upgraded our system to 3.2.54 and the VMPro to 3.2.28.4 Currently, the setup is for calls waiting for the HG, but that only shows the...
It's a system for a financial institution. The IVR system in this case handles both speech as well as touch tones. While I know that the VMPro can do speech recognition, the extent of the capabilities don't match up.
We are currently using an IVR system using analog ports for the IVR. However, we are looking into a new IVR system, but that system utilizes digital ports for connectivity. Has anyone set this up with any success? I know that avaya won't support it, but does it work?
I realize the concept...
The "?" is a resolution issued by Catalyst to bug that has been seen in VM whereby if a caller selects an undefined option in the VM Call flows (AutoAttendant) the VM may crash.
Just a "?" looped to the beginning of the Menu corrects this.
I've seen the VM service on 3.2.15 giving errors and shutting down. Is this patch intended to fix this issue? I didn't see any pdf regarding the download and what it addresses.
My Server 2003 Ent. Ed went through rebuilding active directory rebuilding indices upon reboot last night. Upon startup I now cannot access any active directory or dns type services and see a "no workstation license found" error. Suggestions to repair? Thanks!
Actually, it is possible.
However, one cannot use MOH with a standard external device. If you were to use MOH thru a tftp server with the source being a .wav file with the proper specs, then the MOH will work.
We are currently using this with a couple customers, one of which is using an...
Dang. It is a fresh copy of the system. I wonder what the problem is. We may have a bug in the system and may have to rebuild the groups altogether and see if the problem then repeats itself.
Thanks for the help Peter!
The version we are currently set on is 3.0(44). That in itself could be the problem.
In addition, the overflow time is set to the 300s. Big70, what version are you set to?
I would agree with what you say regarding the manual and what it states. However, the manual specifies the overflow time (which we have set to 300 sec) is used when determining how long a call is held in the que with regards to queuing, but is also used for overflow time when in regards to an...
Has anyone tried to set up a hunt group with both queuing and an overflow group? When we tried it, the presence of the overflow group appears to override the queuing and go stright to that overflow. Our intention was to have callers enter the que when the users are busy, and then move into the...
