I've been working on this switch for a little bit now and I can't figure out which memory location to change for a couple things.
1. When the someone is calling into the phone switch and the target phone is ringing I want to be able to pick up the phone and only get the intercom ring...
I've just installed an ATA unit but I'm having problems getting to an outside line. I have the line pool feature set to the number 9 but I can't use it for digital or the analog adapter. When I use intercom on a digital handset it just gives me a restriction error.
Any Suggestions?

Is the page port a tip and ring or does it actually output enough juice to hand a page port? (so that I wouldn't need an adapter ie. like a page pac6)

Has anyone used a two way paging system before?
If so what type of line on the PBX did you use? Is there a recommended brand or model that is best to go with? Will a tip and ring adapter be necessary?

I have a nortel Norstar pbx setup behind a cisco voip CO system. The company has just switched to that cisco and every other morning all the phone lines will show as if they are in use. The only way to fix it is to cut power to the pbx and let it come back up.
Has anyone run into this problem...
Thanks for the help, I checked a few other extensions and used the scan feature. It turns out that the actual phone lines were programed in the 30's(I wasn't the one who originally programmed the system). Thanks for the help guys!

When a caller calls in the rest of the phones ring in the office but don't ring on these phones. You can see the light flashing but no noise whatsoever. I've tried terms and sets but I'm not sure about which settings control whether or not the ringer works.

I've changed two phones to other employees in the office but for the life of me I cannot get them to ring. Feature *80 has them at decent volume settings however the phones will not ring.
Any suggestions?
