Is the page port a tip and ring or does it actually output enough juice to hand a page port? (so that I wouldn't need an adapter ie. like a page pac6)

Sean

This of course is dealing with an avaya partner page port. Also, is it full duplex?

Thanks

Sean

1. The Partner page port provides a 600 ohm audio output, designed to be connected to an amplified speaker or amplifer. Generally, it cannot successfully be connected directly to a speaker. If you only need one speaker, a Valcom amplified speaker or horn would work nicely.

2. The page port is one-way (i.e. cannot be used for talkback paging). If you need talkback, you must use a trunk or station position (additional equipment required in both cases for success)

Good luck.

Hmm, I think the port IS two way, as I have done talk back paging with a Bogen ZPA. At lease on Partner Plus, II, and ACS through release 6. Couldn't swear to the R7 that uses a line port programmed as the page port.
