Meridian KSU and ATA unit

I've just installed an ATA unit but I'm having problems getting to an outside line. I have the line pool feature set to the number 9 but I can't use it for digital or the analog adapter. When I use intercom on a digital handset it just gives me a restriction error.

Any Suggestions?

two suggestions...
you must assign lines to the pool, and program the DN's to have access to the pool

I did that but it seems to be having slight issues.
