We used VLDB for quite some time and ran into alot of problems -...
I am going through the network setup now and i've found some strange settings.
You should happen to know the difference between EC=1 and EC=10060 ? I think that EC=10060 refers to the WinSock error 10060 (timeout) but the EC=1 is still a mysteri.
The first thing i would do is check the backup log. Which servers take a long time, is it only 1 server that spend 15 hours backing up or is every server "equal" in time ?
This would be the first thing i would check and then continue with my findings in the log file.
I am having problems with Arcserve 2000 SP4 running on a w2k server. The servers that i am backing up is running NT 4.0 SP6a with remote agent. The problems is that the backup is "50%" done and i receive and E8522 error.
The problem appears after a few hours of backup when i receive...
I would have checked the service account that runs BE. If it's not specified it's the localsystem account, try change this to an user that has rights to the remote server.

Had a similar error code "E6084 Drive Hardware Error-Servo or Sensor.." with a Storagtek tape-library. The error message was gone when i cleaned the tape drives.

I've checked the books online on the DATEDIFF function and it pointed me to the DATEADD function. Could you write the query with a string like :

?
You could use the NET SHARE command to share the directory.
NET SHARE BOND$=D:\USERS\BOND /REMARK:"James Bond"
