I have had a couple of Magix systems now experiencing the same problems and was wondering if you guys had seen this as well. There are other ways to reset the vmail admin password other than blowing out all of your programming. Get a technician to your site.

Can you just put the calls on hold?

I have BCM50 that needs a patch for alarm 31045, but I can't get the update to work. Is there a better set of instructions for applying patches to the BCM50??? Thanks.

It connects to an extension port. You can check for data by setting up hyperterminal on a pc and connecting it to the SMDR unit. The Hyperterminal specs are in the SMDR book as well as any other options that you may be interested in (such as what format you want your call records in).
