Disable link prompt from showing up

Thanks for your suggestion, but that only works on a single worksheet; I need this as a global setting, that's why I tried to write code to disable this setting completely. Thanks.

Disable link prompt from showing up

Hello, I have a problem when Excel prompts the user to "Continue" or "Edit Links". Is there a way to disable this prompt? Here's what I've tried: 1. TOOLS - OPTIONS - EDIT - unchecked ASK TO UPDATE LINKS (Doesn't work, I still get prompted to "continue" or "edit links" when I open a...

    Configuring Citrix client

I'm using ORCA to modify the Citrix client MSI for deployment. Here's my environment in a nutshell. Citrix farm with 2 citrix servers in the same physical LAN (10.1.x.x corporate network). I want to add a third server to the farm; however, this server will be located in my DR site (10.254.x.x)...

    Negotiating capabilities...

1.) My Citrix farm has two servers in the same Citrix Zone (same IP Lan 10.1.0.0) I added a new server to this farm, but the only difference is that this server is located in my DR site (different IP Lan 10.254.0.0), and as such - it shows as a different citrix zone. The problem comes when I...

    Distribution List permission

Ok,what about the OWNER field in the DL properties? I used to add a group/user in this field and only this group/user was able to add/remove users to this DL. Is this setting not used no more? Thanks for your reply.

    Newbie Question

I would setup a public folder. Assign this PF an email address and set permissions on this PF so that only those users can access it. These users can create shortcuts on their Outlook client so that they can check for email messages. That's the way I have it setup in my environment.

    Outlook connection to server

I recall having an issue like this, to the point that I had to open a case with MS. Here's what you need to check. 1. Version of Outlook your users have. Make sure your affected users have the same version as those not having issues. 2. Make sure you've applied all HotFixes to Outlook. Some...

    Distribution List permission

I'm in an Exchange 2003 native mode environment. I'm confused as to how to set permissions/security to all my distribution lists. In Exchange 5.5 I could se the OWNER field and only the user or group especified in that field could modify (add/remove) members to this DL. Now, in Exchange 2003...

    Exchange/Outlook profile

The servers were removed a week later, and during that week I made sure that all these users logged on to their mailboxes.

    Exchange/Outlook profile

I recently moved several user mailboxes from their office server (branch office) to the corporate office server. All these servers are in the same Administrative group, and all these servers are running Exchange 2003 SP2. After sucessfully moving these mailboxes, their Outlook profiles still...

    Radius configuration

Ok, here's what I've found so far. This can't be done with a RADIUS server. You need to have a TACAS+ server or something like Cisco's ACS to get the kind of functionality that I'm looking for.

    Radius configuration

I have Radius authentication working nicely on my 3700 router. I need to find out if I can use my Windows password when I want to go in 'enable' mode in the router. Up until this point I have to remember my 'enable' password in order to make router configuration, but I'd like to use my Windows...

    Weird DNS behavior

I have two 'internal' DNS for AD and one 'external' DNS used for web/ftp sites. All my DNS servers are behind a firewall and, obviously, DNS ports are opened for these three servers. Through DHPC all my users get assigned these two (internal) dns servers as primary and secondary. My servers use...

    IAS authenticating VPN and Cisco

Hello, Currently I have an IAS server authenticating VPN users to my domain. Users get access through my PIX firewall and then they're authenticated by my internal IAS server; this setup is working nicely. Now, I want to enable RADIUS authentication on my PIX, so the admins can use their AD...

Am I missing someting? (read receipts)

Thanks for your reply, but I still can't get Exchange 2003 to stop delivering read receipts out to internet recepients. I'm able to 'block' NDRs but for some reason Exchange still delivers read receipts. I remember this used to be such an easy option to turn onff in Exchange 5.5, but I don't...

Am I missing someting? (read receipts)

I'm running Exchange 2003 SP1 and I've made the proper changes in: Global Settings -> Internet Message Formats -> Default -> Advanced -> and I have removed check marks for everything but the bottom two options (allow non-delivery and preserve sender's display) to not allow Exchange 2K3 to send...

    Disk Management with XP SP2

Ok, here's something interesting..when I make changes to my test GPO, there's a firewall setting that reads: Allow remote administration exception. This setting, according to the side notes, it opes ports 135 and 445, but I'm still unable to run Disk Manager against a remote computer.

    Disk Management with XP SP2

Ok, I've opened port 135 and created and exception for dmremote.exe and I'm still unable to use Disk Manager on a remote computer. Yes, we do have a PIX to isolate our network from the internet; we may do just that as this firewall brings a ton of problems.

    Disk Management with XP SP2

On my test domain I'm testing a GPO that enables XP SP2 firewall. I've enabled and opened ports to allow IT to manage remote computers on our network; however, I can't seem to get Disk Management to work as it used to before enabling the firewall. I'm aware that I need to open TCP port 445...
