I have an associate using Office 2010. In Excel they have protected a spreadsheet and allowed custom permissions on a cell range. However, anyone that opens the file can make changes to the cell range. Any ideas?

you can also right-click on the file and choose "open with" and select excel. when you do this it should change them back to .xls files.

I will try checking the memory. We are backing up out DOT logs on an old program called TRIPFAX. We are backing it up to our network and onto a zip disk. Thanks again.
