Customer has a bcm 50 and nobody knows the password. The previous vendor says they left it at default but it is not working. Is there another user ID I can use other than "nnadmin"?
You would have make that programming change on the lines with your service provider. You cannot do this on a CICS and analog lines. You can do that on a MICS with the OLI setting but only if you're using digital trunking.
I had the same problem before and it drove me crazy. I replaced the module, had lines checked, moved module to a different slot, etc., and all didn't work. The problem turned out to be a bad expansion cabinet that only had the CTM and a DSM 32+ with only 4 phones connected to it. I replaced...
Thanks for the reply guys. I think you misunderstood my situation though. I wanted to simply generate reports of the system programming through norstar manager so I could use the info to program my MICS from scratch. I know this can be done as I have done it before but I can't seem to...
I have a Norstar 8x24 that I'm replacing with a Mics 7.0. I am trying to pull out the programming from the 8x24 using Norstar Manager 3.7 but I can't seem to remember how to do this. It's been long time. Can anybody help me out?
The first one looks like its for call pilot and the other one might be compatibility issues with the flash unit or even the KSU you are hooking it up to. What kind of system is it?
Could be that you have 2 intercom lines programmed for these cordless phones and its a second call ringing in on the second intercom. Also make sure that no CO lines are programmed to these phones leaveing only the hunt group to ring.
Default the rad and then try again. There is a post in the f.a.q's on how to do that. When you try again make sure there is no cable plugged in to the serial port.
I encountered the exact same problem before. I had the same hardware and software configuration. The problem is definitely the nam 4.0. Upgrade to 4.1 and it should solve your problem.
I do not think it is user error as the receptionist has been doing this for a very long time. Like I said in my first post, this is quite a weird scenario. Thanks for the replies so far.
Sorry, Here are system details:
Mics w/5.0 s/w
Norstar applications mod. w/ 4.1 s/w
8 ports on VM
4 station mods
1 ASM
roughly 80+ sets
Full PRI
Hope this helps
thanks for the replies
I have a weird situation with one of our customers. When reception tries to do a direct to VM transfer, callers end up hitting the Auto attendant instead. They don't reach the mailbox and end up having to call back as they do not know the extension number. Reception tries again and it usually...
Is there any way to simulate dialtone on a norstar with pri? Callers dial 9 as the destination code for the routing service to dial out. After they press 9, is it possible to hear a norstar generated dialtone?
