I am trying to run Sysprep 1.1 on a XP Pro box that has been updated with all MS patches, etc... I get the message "sysprep-The procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library setupapi.dll" and it does nothing. Any ideas?? Thanks

Can an XP (or 2000 pro) workstation be setup as a terminal services server or be remotely managed in a similar fashion (with Microsoft products)?

Check to see if the server service (in the control panel, services icon) is started. Might check the logon service too.

Sounds like he has been removed from the admin group or his account is locked out or disabled. Have you tried another user that has admin rights?

I have a combo box on a form that looks up 5 values I have stored in a table. Problem I have is that whenever one of the values is selected in the form it changes the value on ALL records. How do I get it to keep the value on that record once it is selected?

Ordinarily this is because the programs were not removed correctly. Someone just deleted the progrsam folder/files rather than use the uninstall program for that app. They can be removed by removing the entry form the registry under the uninstall key within the current version key for Windows...

Have you tried that same logon on another machine? Still a problem there?

I would start by making sure you have all the applicable service packs installed and system resources are adequate for that OS. If all that is okay then try removing the mouse, rebooting and then replacing the mouse and reboot. Is this a new machine or are you re-loading an old one?
