    DHCP Options Fortigate 60D

Hi All Appreciate this isn't an IP Office issue directly but has anyone had any experience of using Fortigate firewalls as DHCP server for 16xx series phones? Putting in the scope options isn't as straightforward as when using an Windows server it seems. Thanks in advance

Avaya SBCs in HA and IP Office

Hi When deploying Avaya SBCs using HA licenses (Primary and secondary SBC) and a separate EMS server, do we need to create a trunk to both SBCs from the IP Office and therefore mean that we need to double up on the amount of SIP licenses we are putting on the IP Office? Thanks in advance

Avaya One-X and Skype For Business

Just bumping this as we have our first IP Office-Skype integration project. Does anyone have IP Office R10 and SFB working? Do it need Communicator installed on the desktop or can it just use One-X services, SFB plugin and a deskphone?

    One Source R10 Upgrade tool

It's a mock design at this stage to look at the process to upgrade to R10 as and when we decide we want to move our clients onto it. I take it you haven't tried the tool yourself then?

    One Source R10 Upgrade tool

Hi All, Has anyone had any success with using the R10 upgrade tool on OneSource? When I try to upload the license XML file I get a error message "Signature does not exist". Do I need to do something to the XML before I attempt to upload? Can't see anything mentioned in the training material...

    SIP Message-No Licenses

Hmm, yeah 503 seems quite likely.. 503 Service Unavailable The server is undergoing maintenance or is temporarily overloaded and so cannot process the request. A "Retry-After" header field may specify when the client may reattempt its request. If anyone knows for certain please confirm as I...

    SIP Message-No Licenses

Does anyone know the message that the SBC/IPO will send back to the SIP provide in the event that all licenses are being used? I would guess it would be a 486 (user busy) but if you have had any of you no for sure I would appreciate if you could confirm.

    HA in Server Edition

Been discussing resiliency features of the IP Office with my cloud & hosting team and in particular the HA features of Server Edition Select. They fail to see how Avaya can only make this feature available in Select Edition as they would have no way of knowing if a standard server edition...

    Server Edition Primary/Secondary Server deployment

I am currently working on a design for a Server Edition with the primary on client HQ and secondary in a data centre. If the primary go down (with the rest of the site) they will use the secondary server to work remotely using soft clients etc. I am concerned about the link between the primary...

    CCR Agent Name change

I have just tested and all trace of a user disappears from CCR as soon as an extension is deleted. It looks like this means extensions will have to stay in place for as long as the EU needs the CCR data.

    CCR Agent Name change

One of our clients has recently changed a name of one of their CCR agents and has now lost all of the data prior to the name change. Anyone know a way around this for future name changes? Thanks

Incoming SIP calls dropping after 32 seconds

I've been doing some reading over night and it seems this is quite common in the world of SIP trunking. The issue seems to be the Avaya not receiving the ACK message from the SIP provider and therefore dropping the call. Others have suggested the RTP ports are being blocked so I will check that...

Incoming SIP calls dropping after 32 seconds

Incoming SIP calls dropping after 32 seconds

We are currently implementing a Server Edition system alongside an Avaya SBC and Hipcom SIP trunks. After much playing around with the SBC we finally got calls to route in and out however incoming calls are dropping after 32 seconds. We have full speech path during those 32 seconds that the...

    Server Edition/Application Server Remote Access

We are an Avaya partner. I have been speaking with a few contacts at this end and the general feedback I have is to use a Management PC or VPN into site using the clients firewall. As far as I can see, the Avaya SSL VPN is primarily for their use unless you want to go to the hassle and expense...

    Server Edition/Application Server Remote Access

Hi Guys, Historically we have always accessed sites remotely by either using ISDN dialup or via remote access to a PC on the same network using something like logmein or Teamviewer. We are now starting to deploy both Linux based application servers and fully blown IPO Server edition where...

    ContactStore Outgoing

I am aware that you can't play them back through Windows. I was only saying I can find them through Windows but they are no appearing on Contact Store. I am also aware of how to use the search function on CS so this is not the problem.

    ContactStore Outgoing

No, I was trying to multi-task and wrote the wrong thing. I was trying to say that I can locate files through windows file browser but Contact Store is not displaying them so I can't play them.
