I’m having problems reading the CellBackColor of a flexgrid in certain situations.
If I’m using the click event on the grid, I am able to read the color
ex. If MSFlexGrid1.CellBackColor = vbRed Then
‘this will return true if the cell clicked is red
However when I try to reference by a...
Denny,
Thanks, everything is working! One thing though, after making the changes in the MSDTC Security Configuration, message stated that the services would be stopped and then restarted. I tried a transaction a few minutes later and got the same error message. I then rebooted the server, and...
Thanks Denny, my query is between a windows 2000 and a windows 2003 server. I will follow the instructions in the link and let you know how everything works out!

SQL Server 2000 SP3 & Windows 2003 Standard Edition
I have read many posts regarding this problem, including the MS KB article 295086, most seem to deal with W2000, and we are currently running W2003.
I’ve confirmed that DTC services are running on the 2003 machine, and our SQL Server Name and...
Evil6,
We have the same exact problem and can't resolve it. We have rebuilt the machine 3 times and the problem keeps reappearing. Did you ever get a solution to your problem?
Thanks,
Jim
My apologies if this is repeated, tried posting it earlier, but I never saw it.

Jay,
Here's the code below, I compared it to other plans I have on other servers and it looks the same.
Thanks,
Jim
==============
EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_sqlmaint N'-PlanID 408C8DEF-514D-42DE-8306-D5EFEF57D450 -WriteHistory -VrfyBackup -BkUpMedia DISK -BkUpDB "\\Mars\AthenaDailyBackup"...
I ran the job in QA, below are the results, the same that I received from the Maintenance plan
=====================================
(9 row(s) affected)
Server: Msg 22029, Level 16, State 1, Line 0
sqlmaint.exe failed.

Thanks,
Jim
I have a maintenance plan that backups all the databases on the server to disk every night. This was working fine until this past week when I started having problems. When I view the job history for the plan, it shows if failed (00:00:00) run duration with the following error message:” Executed...
Let me preface this post by saying I have very little experience with networks, but working for a very small company, the responsibility has been ‘dropped’ on my lap. I’ve tried my best here to document the problem, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have a SQL backup to disk that runs...
I think this might have happened when we moved databases to a new server; all of the tables are our ‘standard’ user tables. All of these user tables in Master are also in their respective user databases, and they are getting updated properly. So would it be safe just to drop the unwanted tables...
One of our master databases seems to be populated with various user tables, plus the regular system tables. Everything seems to be working OK, but I’m not a 100% confident of it. How could this possible happened, but more important, how do I go about fixing the problem?
Many thanks,
Was not really sure what each option did for me, so I kept pretty much to the defaults, except for changing the amount of maximum free space in file after shrinking to 10%, the default here is 0, but is it advisable to set it to 0?).
Moving pages to the beginning states that it could hinder...
