Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

TTT, I must say you are confusing me, but... I did exactly as you suggested. First task, the second caller got a busy signal......as I would expect. Second task, same result But I would expect that since the ACS was completely removed from the equation both times.....wouldn't I? However...

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

Greetings, Sorry my problem still persists. TouchToneTommy I'm confused. Currently, LINE 2 from Phone Company connects to ACS When you suggest unplugging line 2 from ACS and connecting to a single line phone, that sounds like the phone wire goes from Phone Copmpany to Single Line Phone, YES...

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

Thanks for trying. No call services. When Partner is removed from line 2 by powering off. Caller 1, me calling using cell phone, hears ringing. Caller 2, my assistant using cell phone, hears busy signal. When powered back on, me using cell phone gets AA. My assistant using her cell phone ten...

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

No, I'll start over... I have 3 lines, 1, 2 and 3. Lines 1 and 3 are not programmed for AA. I'm having no issue with Lines 1 or 3. Line 2 has AA after 4 rings. If call comes in on Line 2 and not answered, after four rings AA answers with a custom message of approximately 35 seconds in length...

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

I understand that. The problem is that while the AA is answering call#1 to line 2, call #2, instead of receiving a busy signal, gets answered by dead air. Each subsequent call is also answered by dead air until call#1 finally ends.

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

For the most part my system is working, though I have a nagging issue. If a call is answered by AA and another call comes in, that second, third, etc call is answered by dead air until the original AA finishes. How can I either have call 2 receive a busy signal, or answered by an AA message...

Partner Mail VS R5 and Call Forwarding

OK, I got my Auto Attendant and PMVS working 90% thanks to many of you. Now, how can I set up such that, " Please press 4 to be connected with our doctor on call" By pressing 4, the caller will now be forwarded to phone # (510)555-1212? Thank you. Cheers!!!

Partner ACS 6.0 Second Line rings twice, then drops

Greetings, A strange thing started today. Line 2 would ring twice, then (according to the caller) just drop off. However, if one answers the line about 10 seconds after the last ring heard, the caller is on the line. If a call is made to Line 2 from inside the office on either Line 1 or 3, the...

Call Forwarding and PMVS 4.0 and ACS 6.0 processor

Thank you. So, Given the above scenario, if I have a 4 Port PMCIA card what are the advantages of using a PMVS R4.0 module compared to just using the VM card in the 308 Processor. One advantage would be to loose the 5 slot carrier and just use a 2 slot one. Cheers!

Call Forwarding and PMVS 4.0 and ACS 6.0 processor

Can I do that and only use the Partner Mail PCMCIA card in the ACS processor and loose the PMVS card?

Call Forwarding and PMVS 4.0 and ACS 6.0 processor

Greetings, I asked this question a few years back while using a Partner II and the answer was "NO". I'll ask again now that I am using a 308 R6.0 Processor and Partner Mail VS R 4.0... The caller is greeted by the AA. The caller is given options: Press 0 for the Receptionist, Press 1 For the...
