I wouldn't go so far as to say they are incompatible yet.
But you may want to make sure that the Network card is either in the last or 3rd PCI slot (Generally works better) and see if there are any Bios Flash upgrades for your bord on the FIC website.

Peer to peer is fine as long as you have the proper patch cables..If you are using a hub and the Network still takes time to validate then more than likely you need to make sure all Network settings on all pC's are reinstalled and IDENTICAL. Then reboot them.
