Maybe a dumb question, but do you apply exchange SP4 to OWA? I'm running the same configuration and have uninstalled OWA and am reloading Win2k SP4 right now. Any help is greatly appreciated.... Thanks in advance
Hey DPU!,
I had the same problem. If you are running Exchange standard and your outgoing queue is stuck, you have probably crossed the 16GB limitation. Check the size of your Priv.edb and see if it's larger than 16GB. If it is, the only way to reduce it is to have your users start...
Thanks Valier! It's definitely not the popup stoppers that they are running. The Reply window pops up and then intead of seeing the reply page, the OWA login page is displayed. I'm stumped. I tried stopping and restarting the Internet Store on the Exchange server but that didn't do anything...
Update: Now instead of getting the login screen in the reply popup, they get a popup window that has the message:
Error.
Failed to open this item.
Your item does not exist in this folder. It may have been deleted.
I'm completely stumped now. Regular Outlook users are having no problems...
Hi Everybody,
I'm having a problem with my Outlook Web Access. My users can log into OWA and they can read their emails, but when they try to reply or forward, in the window that popups you should see the reply message, instead, a new window opens, with the OWA login screen. I'm getting now...
Thanks zbnet and DestinysDream. The problem turns out to be that NAV for Microsoft Exchange (NAVMSE) partition got full, so NAVMSE could not process any more attachments. I had to manually uninstall NAVMSE (using NAV document:1998112417220554) and then reinstall the latest NAVMSE build...
I do have a quarantine folder in my NAVMSE folder that is has maxed out the 6GB drive that it is residing on. I'm looking into that right now to find out if that has anything to do with it... Is there anything else that I could check?
Thanks for the quick reply DestinysDream. I do not have another server to move any mailboxes to. Apparantly all of my users are now experiencing this problem. I ran a offline defrag on my server on Monday nite and did not have any problems after the defrag until now. Could it be that my NAV...
Hi All,
First I would like to send thanks to all those that contribute to this forum! This is one of my best resources for Exchange problems...
Now onto my question: My users have been getting this message this morning: "Cannot open one or more attachments" when trying to open emails with...
Thanks zbnet! I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to try and get one more drive for my array and see if that does the trick. Thanks for the response!
Hi All,
I'm in a bit of disk space jam. My Exchange 5.5 SP4(NT 4.0 SP6) server is maxed out of space. I've tried the offline defrag without success. My free space on the drive is still under 30MB. My question is: Is it possible to map a drive to another server, make a copy of the priv.edb...
Thanks Wibbe!
Sorry for the late reply, but your tips worked! ALthough it was weird in the sense that I had to manually tell it to use DNS for that one particular address. I did an nslookup on the first and could not resolve it, however if manually instructed to use DNS, it worked. I don't...
Hi All,
I've searched through the forum and haven't found anything quite like my problems and am hoping someone can give me some ideas. I am currently running Exchange 5.5 SP4 on NT 4.0 SP6 with 3.63 GB of free space left on my HD. I've never had any problems with email service and this has...
