    Exploding Balloon

This is probably simple but I'm having trouble figuring it out. I want to take a picture of a balloon and divide it into a number of parts in Photoshop. Then I want to take those individual parts, put them together in After Effects 5.5 and create what looks like the balloon flying into pieces...

    Effects don't work

Premiere has a problem with jpegs. I suggest you convert them to TIFFs and you'll likely have much better luck. Even BMPs are likely to work better than compressed JPEGs.

Files corrupt when I copy to them to new hard drive

Sorry, I have no idea why your files are corrupted but I just have to ask: Why do you have Windows XP installed 3 times, or do I misunderstand what you mean? I've never heard of doing this. .....Gord

    Default Titler Options

I figured out a workaround. I can save a template and use that but it's still not as quick as changing the defaults would be. .....Gord

    Default Titler Options

Is there a way to change the default font, font size, color, etc. in the Titler in Premiere 6.5 so that I don't need to change them each time I want to put another title in my project? It seems obvious there should be a way but I haven't been able to find it. Thanks for any advice. .....Gord

No Video When I Scrub, Preview Or Export. Why Not?

I've captured some clips trying both Premiere 6.5 and VirtualDubMod and I can see them in the Monitor when I'm working with them but when I try scrubbing on the Timeline, or Previewing or attempt to export a movie I get no video. I changed the Track Format in the Timeline Window Options to show...

Changing Field Order In Capture Settings in 6.5

I'm using Premiere 6.5 and I've been struggling to get rid of any red entries in the Settings Viewer and I'm almost there. The only red I have left is due to the fact that I have "Lower Field First" in both the Project and Export Settings and "Upper Field First" in the...

    AVI clip black in Timeline

When I import an AVI clip into the timeline it appears to be solid black. MPEG or MOV clips show the video frames. Is there any reason AVI clips don't show the frames? I've tried different codecs to capture and captured with VirtualDub. The AVI clips all play just fine in the Monitor, they just...

    Adobe MPEG Encoder Problems

I'm trying to use the MPEG Encoder to export an AVI file to DVD. The source file is good and when I encode with TMPGEnc it works perfectly. However, when I try to do it in Premiere 6.5 there is either no picture at all or only part of the video shows up. The video file (.m2v) is always 863kb...

Capturing Audio & Video to Separate Hard Drives

I know that it is possible to capture and send the audio and video to separate hard drives but I'm not sure if Premiere 6.5 supports this. Can anyone tell me if it does and, if so, how to go about doing it. I want to capture from VHS tapes to my hard drive(s) using my ATI All-in-Wonder 7500...

Exporting To DVD - HOW do I Burn it?

Hi, Volkoff007 Have you ever wished you could just take back a Post? I took a close look at the software that came with my burner and it turns out that one of the programs (MyDVD) will do just as you say. I didn't realize that it actually took both the video and audio when I chose the video...

Exporting To DVD - HOW do I Burn it?

Hi I'm new to the world of DVD burners and have a problem. I've created a video in Premiere 6.5 and used the Export Timeline - Adobe MPEG Encoder to create .m2v and .wav files. Now how do I burn them to the DVD and get a video out of them? Do I need another program to put them back together...
