I am new with the call manager 3.2. I was wondering what type win2k role does the call manager get installed into..ie..do we install the server as a member server, domain controller and if so, is it part of the current AD domain or do you create a different domain and stick all the CCM in that...

It is 100% a signalling problem..what is the router set on d4/ami or esf/b8zs..check for T1 alarms...like red, blue, or yellow alarms...Do test with the telco all the way thru..everyone must be using the same signalling...a loop test will not ID what the problem is b/c it is already in...
sounds like your problems point to configurations with the DNS and MX records. Make sure if you ping (from outside your LAN) your mail server, that it come back with the external IP address..also, try doing a nslook -type=MX yourdomain.com

I know..but if he loads up the win2k pro bc/ "I can get in from this point" and once loaded, go into ysytem's properties...another option is continue the install, but on a different partion..once finished, load the original OS up and edit the boot.ini and delete all files on the other...
This will stop the 2 options that he keeps seeing by setting the original OS as the default. At least he will not have to interact with the bootup process.

what you need to do is right click on my computer, select properties...click on the advanced tab...select startup and recovery in the bottom......click on the default OS and select the OS you want to boot up as a default....click ok and restart...from now on, it should boot to your win2k...
I have a WIN XP PRO and win2k pro ws at home and need to connect to an office LAN (NT 4 Server) over the internet. I can ping the office server but can't connect . Help Please. Do i need to enable something on the server? Thanks

The router will not boot at all- just outputs that it can not load from flash...and goes into the rommon1> prompt..with the help command, i can't seem to make it so it boots up from new again, not even the confreg****. Is there anyway to wipe out the whole system and start again...maybe a jumper...
you need to go to Outlook/tools/options/mail delivery/ reconfigure mail support/ then choose "Corporate or Workgroup". remember to back up your pst files first..hope this help..
Make sure the nic card on the win2k is enabled..there is a good that it is not enabled..i ran into this problem a few months ago...so right click and see if it is enabled..once you see the icon on the bottom right corner..double click on it to see if you see activity on it..
