    IPCC "Not Ready" State

Is there a way to have automaticly have an agent be logged out of IPCC if they have been in "not ready" state for a defined period of time? I've been going through all the steps and kind find an easy way to do it. I have thought of using the get routing statistic in a separate script to...

    IPCC Scripting Help

I have been asked by one of my customers for functionality on IPCC that I have yet to be able to provide. What they would like to do is have the script first look to determine if there are agents logged in. Based on that criteria, it will follow two different call logics. Is there a way to do...

Wireless headset compatibility with Cisco IP phones using G.722

We have rolled out the G.722 codec between Cisco IP phones and the call quality is great. When using a wired headset, we still get the same quality which is getting good feedback. Our problem is with the wired headsets. Since G.722 uses a wider audio range (150 Hz to 7 kHz), the wirless...

    7942 & Wideband phones

We recently purchased somee 7942 wideband phones. We assumed that the call quality would be better because it uses the entire voice range (at a bandwidth cost). I am biased and like the new sound, but we have yet to roll it out to customers. Since it does sound dramaticly different, have you...

    Cisco One Way Audio

We had a similar issue and it ened up being a firewall issue. Watch you firewall logs during a call and you'll see what ports are being denied.

    MWI for a strobe

I have a somewhat unique customer request. Or at lease unique to me. I have a customer that is moving off of a Nortel PBX to our CCM cluster. Currently they have a phone number that rings to a central phone in a pick up group. If no one answers the phone and the caller leaves a voicemail...

    MICS - CallPilot 8 Channels

I have many MICS systems with the older NAMS for voicemail. I'm having issues in some offices where I need to expand the voicemail to greater than 8 channels. The NAMS is MDd so I can't purchase expansion through my equipment provider. I looked into the option of purchasing a CallPilot, but...

    Programming through phone set

One of the issues I'm haveing with a lot of my field offices is that the users can do their own basic phone programming through the phone interface. I've installed a lot of MICS and CICS systems and this functionality was avaiable then. I've heard that in later releases this functionality will...

Phone inventory tracking - Import using BAT

My office is in the process of setting up CallManger for about 500 phones. Not that big of an installation, but I don't want to manually enter all of these MAC addresses. What I'd like to do is use BAT in conjunction with some sort of Bar Code reader. Does anyone have a bar code reader and...

Headset jack disables handset on M7310?

After reading this post, I tried it several ways on my M7310. I'm using a GN Netcom headset. I agree that it's kind of odd, but you do have to unplug or in my case, just undo the quick disconect. ~Matt My related blogs... http://telecomtoday.blogspot.com/ http://thegadgetguys.blogspot.com/

We have an SL-100 with the M3900 series phones attached to it. For voicemail we are using Call Pilot. On the 3900 series phones there is a key labeld "message". If you press the key when the light is lit, it works fine. When you press the key when no light is lit, it gets a fast busy. We...

    Meridian SL100 - BSF

There is an option on Meridian BLFs (BSF) that allows you to see if an extension is busy and it also works like a transfer key. Does anyone have experience or know how to make this work on a Meridian SL 100?

    Add second extension to set

If you go into terminal's and Sets, then Line access, look under answer DNs to add the appearance.

    Norstar M7310 Line 1 Button

To add a phone line to a station, you need to go into config and then Termianls and Sets. From there you will need to go into line access then line assignment. Enter the line number and have it appear or appear and ring on the phone.

    F981 showing log not Password

This may seem simple, but I've made this mistake before. Press Feature *0, then the intercom key to verify that the station is actually 248. I've made the assumption before and it was just labeled incorrectly.
