More to ponder. On site using either a laptop or the client desktop the following occures.
Connect with PC Admin Software, press connect. Programs download ok through 93xx. Then the records begin to download 1 of 1800. On record 11, the download stalls, then the system restarts. Once the system...
Have you tried to reverse T&R at the dmark? Does the system have a good ground? If you can make outgoing calls and don't hear a lot of static on the line, I would first try to reverse the T&R.
On calls that you do receive, can you transfer them to other stations ok? If so, I would look back...
I have a NEC DS-2000 with PC admin software for administration and Call accounting software. In the past few weeks, when any changes are made with the admin software, uploading the changes causes a system reboot.
The admin software works fine when downloading the database, changes can be made...
Fireeater
That was the information I was looking for, path 1x was the step I was missing/didn't understand from the manual.
Many thanks - I owe you a cup of coffee!
Thanks to everyone for the fast response to my crisis!
Thanks for the reply's.
It is definitely a CCR tree that is being used. I have to disable the tree to change the recordings when employee's leave/are hired by the company. Once recorded, enable the tree.
People in the office record the Spanish message for Path “1”.
Path “0” is the normal...
Thanks for the fast reply.
The way the CCR worked: "Thanks for calling xyz company, if you want to hear this message in spanish press 1 now. If you are trying to reach john doe - dial x23, if you want sally doe - dial x24, if you want to speak to sales, jack is x25, sally2 is x26, if you want...
Sorry if this is a repeat. I didn’t see my first post on line
Norstar Plus release 1 T1 & StarTalk Flash
StarTalk Flash System died after extended power failure. I’ve had to reinitialize voice mail system, build mailbox’s and rebuild the CCR Tree and based on it not working it’s obvious I did...
1) Currently have a Server 2003 but no domain, it has multiple workgroups defined. It has licenses for 30 users/devices- currently using 19.
2) Need to add a new server for a new application, a SBS2003 premium seems to be the best software deal. This will be ordered with 10 cals - 10 users/or...
Thanks - it's never as easy as the salesman says! This is great information, gave me a heads up on what to discuss on the purchase of the server.
So - far, it sounds like the server has enough resources to act as both an exchange server and file server. I will find out the cost if upgrading to...
I have the following configuration: Server (A) acts as file/print server and is the primary AD. It is Windows 2000 server. There is a second Windows 2000 server (B) with Exchange 2000. It is the secondary AD. Its main purpose is a Exchange server only.
Server (A) has 50 GB of storage, Server...
feature #84 - cancels line redirection. May be heading you in the wrong direction. One of the techs here helped me with that problem a few months ago. Incoming calls where redirected back out of the system.
Just a thought
Tried the code 903 to re-initialize the VM but I get "Inactive Feature".
When I do f985, input the reset code, it does take the code, prompts to reset, etc. But still cannot gain admin access with 120000 (2 digit dial on system).
It's a Startalk Flash Release 02D or 020? sftware version...
I installed a system that had been setting for several months unplugged. The Compact ICS came up fine, the startalk VM started, but took about 20 minutes for the system to see.
I can do feature 9*x and see all codes, but cannot do F983 and get into admin. I reset password to 0000 but it will not...
map78620,
You win! Feature 84 did the trick. Although I only have copper trunks - it cleared the problem.
I didn't even think about it. I had no idea that any of the end users even knew about the feature, let alone trying to use it. Adding to the problem, the set at the cause of the problem...
Thnaks for the quick response senk1s
I'm affraid that's what I'm looking for - either defective system board or DS cards. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.
Only in America do things like this happen :-)
Thanks for the reply!
Agree, it's a real head scratcher. In 34 years, I've never seen this in any vendor equipment.
I isolated the co lines, with butt set called/shorted each line, then called MLN and began shorting lines to verify hunting from CO was working.
Then - reconnect all lines to the...
