Have you tried totally uninstalling Office first and then installing from scratch instead?

In Excel, you can highlight the column, then Format Cells, then under Number tab, go to Custom and put in 6 zeros in "Type In" That should work.

Why not do a Ctrl +A (select all) and then just go to Format pull-down, borders & shading, then no fill. That wouldn't change your font styles or sizes, just the shading.

I found a pretty good OCR program that I use. It's called TextBridge. Much better than OmniPage and costs only from about $75 - $100. Omnipage cost me about $550 when I bought it and I didn't like the results. Much less "cleaning up" with TextBridge.
