Currently, my HTML editors are Front Page and WordPad. I have MS Word 2000 installed, and I would like to edit with this program. Does anyone know of a way I can Edit with Microsoft Word ???

Why does'nt my HTML editor in Microsoft Explorer give me this option ???

I am using Windows 98SE as the operating system.

Please help.

You can right mouse click your .html file and choose MS Word as your editor.

You will then be asked if you wish to make word your defauld html editor

Actually if you're using win98 you will need to hold the shift key while right mouse clicking the .html file

Your Internet Explorer doesn't show Word as an option?

You should be able to click on the Internet Options pull-down menu, click on Programs tab and change your HTML Editor to Microsoft Word for Windows.

What version of IE are you using?

How can I determne what version of Internet Explorer I am using???

Also, when I go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs, in the top box labeled as: HTML editor, there are only two options. The first option is: Microsoft FrontPage, and the second option is: Windows Note Pad.

Can I get the option of "Word for Windows" in this box???

Thank you,

In Interner Explorer click [ Help > About ] to view the version.

Try AlsGal52's method, it's probably easier.

Are you sure you have word installed?

I have to agree with mscallisto. Doesn't sound to me like MS Word IS installed.
