I'm currently running MS Small business Server behind a Sonicwall firewall and a seperate dedicated webserver. Currently I cannot gain acces to the OWA externally because my firewall is port forwarding all port 80 traffic down to webserver. How can I set it up to access both (web server and...
Thanks for your help. I saw that KB article and tried that already and it didn't help. I did fix the problem buy going to Ad-aware's website (from another pc) and searched there forums. I found a fix it util and it worked.
Thanks Again
That newnet.dot software was installed. I unistalled it but I still have no internet or network.I think the user used that AD-aware software to remove stuff. On the above link I noticed this statement:
"Do not use Lavasoft's AD-Aware to remove New.net, WebHancer or CommonName. At the time...
I've seen this on a few machines lately. Machines that are not mine. The machines were working fine and then all of sudden all network communications stopped. I no longer get a correct IP address from the router. Even if I put in a static IP I still can't get to my router(linksys) or even my...
No.. I can't figure it out. In the office we have an nt 4 pdc & bdc and a few win2k member servers. One win2k server is hanging off my firewalls DMZ port and not logging onto the domain. I'm running IIS with web and ftp. Any pc (nt4,win2k pro,xp)on the office network can access the ftp server...

I went out to a command prompt and typed ftp xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. It then asked me for my user name (i entered that and hit enter). Password and did the same. It then said "230 User xxxxx logged in, and then gave me a ftp> prompt. I didnt see any thing else. No folders or anything.

I tried that but I got the same problem. It must be a permissions thing. I'll take a look at it when I go into the office in the morning. Win98 clients work fine. I've noticed that it doesn't work with nt4, win2k, or xp. I'll post the fix if and when I find one.
Thanks
I'm having the same problem as everyone else. I tried putting the ip address of the domain controller in the dns of the XP box but it didnt seem to do anything. Do I need to setup the win2k server as a dns server??????
