    Change a Block of DN's

I saw that and I did that. I am curious as to the format for select and replace. I tried 53** and 78**. I tried 53?? and 78??. It is not doing what I would normally use. The reason for the conversion is that I am moving DID from one PRI to another, two different locations. There is a long story...

    Change a Block of DN's

I would like to change a block of 100 DN's from 5300-5399 to 7800-7899. I have CS1000E CPPM Version: 4021. I have the new Avaya Element Manager. I tried to put in an edit for the Prime DN - 53** to 78**. It DID not like that. I tried to put in 53 to 78. It processed but nothing happened. I do...

    Auto Attendant routing with Flash

Phoneguy - Thank you. I had to take the lines off the phones because the AA would not send the calls to the Answer DN if the line appeared on the phones. I reconfigured all the phones involved to use the Answer DN for incoming and Pool dial access for out going. Earl

    Auto Attendant routing with Flash

Thank you for responding. I did get some phone support. My company contacted another company we do business with and the tech helped me out a lot. Thank you again.

    Auto Attendant routing with Flash

I have both AA and CCR. I can program them. The other side is the Norstar. Do I have to do anything about that side of it. Let's say I tell the AA to take line 4. Now if I call line 4, why does it still ring on the stations. The employees are going to pick it up before AA, if AA picks it up at...

    Auto Attendant routing with Flash

Here is my situation: I have a Norstar 8x24 DR5. I just installed a new (refurbished) Flash voicemail system. The Flash is working and mailboxes built. Presently the Norstar has six lines in it. Four lines are for one group and two lines are for the second group. The lines now appear on all the...

    Flash Voice Mail won't initialize

Thank you for that. You were correct about the Feature 903. I read about it the first time through, but when I went back to actually do the install, I could find it. Then after your reply, and I did it, I found the info in the documentation.

    Flash Voice Mail won't initialize

I am installing a Flash voice mail system with a NorStar 8x24. The Norstar is a DR5 software. I am using x257 & x258 for the voice mail. I removed all the line appearances on those two phones. I have installed the PCMIA card, plug in the two extesions in to the Flash unit, plugged in the power...

    MER MAIL From a laptop???????

Try a different VT emulation - Like VT220 or Vt320. Also if you can only do VT100, look up the command that F5 does on a VT220 and progam that into the F5 key for VT100. Save this as a different profile/template like VT101.

    CPND

John, I did it without your printout. I'll compare the two later. Thank you very much, Earl

    CPND

John, I just realized what you wrote. I will try that and let you know. I wish I had remote access, but not at this time. I will need to set up a modem soon to save me some walking. Thanks again, Earl

    CPND

The SCH code, I think is SCH2028 - I am not sure. I am not by the switch. The response for the SCH is the CPND block doesn't exit or something like that. I checked the package and CPND is there. I just don't know where to go from here. Is it in LD 95 where you turn on the block for the Customer...

    CPND

I have on Option 11C that was partially programmed. It was meant to be used for special events. Due to the current disaster, I am using it as our main system. I am trying to get Calling Party Name Display to work. I have looked in the books for something in the Configuration Block or the...

    Multiple Sets Ringing on Norstar

Thank you. That seems to be the information I was looking for. I spend the next day or so looking it over before I go to the customer's premise and do this job. Again you have been most helpful. Earl

    Multiple Sets Ringing on Norstar

I need some help with a Norstar system I am working on. I normally work on large Meridian systems, and I am not that familiar with Norstar, but I am learning. My customer has a MCIS MDR 6.1 with two PRI's and a CallPilot 100/150. They want the Auto-Attendant of the Call Pilot to answer the...

    Viewing already built reports

You have a ton of reports already built. I think it is about 72 or so. To customize or schedule to print these reports you need to first save them with a different name. Then they are personalized for your needs and you can only get these on the computer you created it on. So, to have the same...

    Symposium

I forgot to mention that you also need to verify the buisness day and not a holiday or you'll get the day message on a Holiday or Weekend if you did not check for that. That is why I said you need to play with the scriot part I suggested. It is just a reference as how to handle the different...

    Symposium

I think what you would do is instead of putting a specific time of day and day of week is set up your script to give either of two messages- one during business hours when no one is logged in & one during out of hours when no one is logged in. This is just off the top of my head, but something...

SCCS4.2 script to collect digits and route call

My application is not that complicated. I am not using a database with information. I am just accepting the digits input by the customer and routing calls based on those digits. I think we are going to put in a trouble ticket on this issue. Thank you for your input. Earl
