Hi,
I have been having a lot of problems with airtunes and airport express. When I try to send audio from iTunes to the airport express the stream stops after 30 to 40 seconds and my router disconnects/restarts?. I have now found out, that if I stream somthing from the internet while sending...
I solved my problem. Maybe not the most elegant way, but it works.
'On Open' on my form I run this macro:
GoToControl = Status
RunCommand = SortAscending
GoToControl = '1st control'

You could embed an analog clock made in macromedia flash (several available on the internet). It can't communicate with Access, so you cant change the time, but it will display the clock.
I havent got time for a tutoriel now, but if you are interested let me know and I will see what I can do.

I have a form based on a query, and it sorts by the status of a project. Sometimes a user will use A->Z button to sort by date. The next time the database is opened, it will still sort by date. How do I prevent that?

Typical! I have been working on this for a long time, and when I finally ask for help, I find a solution 10 minutes later.
This is what helped me:

Hi,
I know how to create a textfield within a movieclip with actionscript. I can also set the textcolor, BUT I cannot change the font, fontsize and alpha.
I have been searching the forum and found out that I need to embed the font, but I have not have any luck with it.
Is there a step by step...
Interesting, I didn't know shared libraries. As I see it I will have to import all the shared libraries to the root before I can use them? This ruins the idea of having several (20) swf's containing 3-10 movieclips, loading one at the time.
The user might only need two or three of the swf's...
Hi
I have som buttons on the root of my movie. When I click on a button a SWF containing several movieclips is loaded in to an empty movieclip.
This works fine... But I would like to be able to copy some of the movieclips in the loaded swf to another empty movieclip on the root, by clicking...
Couldn't get it to work, but found this solution
i=1;
_root.createEmptyMovieClip("Skaerm", 1);
rn = Math.round(Math.random()*1000000);
loadMovie("http://xxx.xxx.xxx/pict"+i+".jpg?reload="+rn, Skaerm);
I have no idea what it does, but it works.
thanks to the...
I tried to use the full url of the jpg, and again it worked on my local drive, but not on the internet.
Then I deleted my temporary internet files, and it worked.
Is there a reset or unload function in flash that will have the same effect?

I have this code:
i=1;
_root.createEmptyMovieClip("Skaerm", 1);
loadMovie("PICT"+i+".jpg", Skaerm);
It works fine when i publish it and run the html file created from my lokal drive.
When I transfer all the files to the internet it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Hi all.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it, you cannot delete frames in the middle of a movie. If you try to delete 50 frames in the middle of the movie, flash will delete the last 50 frames!
You could control the movie with AS, but if there are pieces of the movie you...
Hi all.
I would like to know if it is possible to insert a Flash object in a Notes mail or other database documents. I am an ordinary user, and do not have designer access to notes databases.
I have tried to publish my Flash file and import the HTML file with no success.
Then I created an...
Let me clarify what I am trying to do (maybe this thread should be moved to a Lotus Notes forum, any suggestions?). I am writing an article in a Notes database. I would like to insert small Flash animations in this document (like interactive animated GIF's). I do NOT have designer access to the...
Well, I had some success today, and this is what I tried.
First I imported the .html file containing my .swf file. This should work according to other sources, but it didn't!
Then in Lotus Notes I created an object (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation) and inserted the .swf file in the...
