Is it possible to insert a flash object in a Lotus Notes Document?

FCiL

Well, I had some success today, and this is what I tried.

First I imported the .html file containing my .swf file. This should work according to other sources, but it didn't!

Then in Lotus Notes I created an object (Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation) and inserted the .swf file in the PowerPoint object. Now I can see the first frame of the flash file, and with a double-click, the PowerPoint presentation plays my movie full screen.

The downside to it is, that my .swf file is 210KB, and my notes document is 6156KB.

don't know if this is what you are after, but for what it is
worth you can embed Flash into Lotus Notes by importing the .swf file as an image resource - you can't see the file when you click on 'New image resource' but you can type the full name of the file. You can then use it by enclosing it in html - works a treat.
You can call native notes forms by using relative links in your buttons followed by ?OpenForm or ?OpenFrameset. Any load movie stuff also works as long as you remember to import the other swf's.
You can also use xml from within notes to dynamically populate your text fields in your .swf files.

Let me clarify what I am trying to do (maybe this thread should be moved to a Lotus Notes forum, any suggestions?). I am writing an article in a Notes database. I would like to insert small Flash animations in this document (like interactive animated GIF's). I do NOT have designer access to the database, and I can not insert a New Image Resource.
