Netscape v4.08 won't load Flash MX

I'm having problems with bloody Netscape. The Flash MX swf loads and works perfectly fine in all IE browsers we've tested and most Netscapes, but it won't load in Netscape 4.08. I'm trying to tell them to just forget about 4.08 but they won't. Any ideas on how to go about fixing this?

Is there a file called npswf32.dll in your Netscape plugin folder?

If not, find it and copy it to the plugin folder.

There was one in there, but it was tiny file size, so I copied one from a later version of Netscape over the top and it seems to have fixed the problem! Thanks!!

Just for your info, Netscape 4 (all sub-versions), comprise less than 1% of all internet browser use. With this in mind, and the fact that new versions (7.1) are available freely, it makes no sense to support this old browser. In fact, most web page designers and programmers do not create pages or sites that DO support it!

There's always a better way. The fun is trying to find it!
