It will work fine with hardware RAID 5, not too sure if it will work if running RAID 5 via software.

Its sounds like the current setup will only replicate one way (from the secondary WINS to the Primary WINS). Have you tried configuring both WINS servers to PULL and PUSH to each other. This is how our environment is confiured and it works perfectly.

I would tend to think it is a WINS related issue, and the NBTSTAT -r or even NBTSTAT -RR (if running Sp4 or higher) may also help by re-registering with WINS. Good luck
