hard to say anything about this without looking at the file. is it a eps/pdf file importet to illustrator? You shuld be able to use the white arrow tool beside the black one to sort it out (the arrow tool/selection tool).

after a outline is done on text there is no going back on the fonts. the possibility to edit is gone so u have to find out what font it was and start over i hope I am wrong nexsus

be sure to select the white arrow the black one wont help then right click mouse and join u shuld get a line between the two points Nexsus
