Thanks Smah
I spent hours downloading and running the programs you pointed me to - seems like the problem isn't on my computer but I hate it that my corporate address was hijacked and that I don't know how it happened.
The flood of undeliverables is slowing to a trickle now...
Enjoy your star...
I just opened my email to find out that I had ~100 undelivered messages(???) they all were sent with a garbled name @ my corporate account - which is forwarded to my personal email address.
Norton AV showed nothing after a full scan, and is supposed to be monitoring my incoming/outgoing mail/...
Thanks for the reply.
My ISP (Cox Cable) immediately noticed a second computer and billed me for it.
However, since I posted this the situation has "magically" cleared up. The bane of all is trying to solve a problem on someone else's computer when you have no control of where they...
Thanks for the link, I didn't find anything there specific to my problem but I did cross-post the question.
Both systerms are IE6 and the Internet options were set the same. I did change the refresh from "every visit" to "everytime I start IE" but no effect.

My IBM Thinkpad will support an external monitor. Under WIN98SE is there any way to have the laptop and the second monitor display different screens? I'd like to view a webpage on one and a text file on the other, with the ability to work on each independantly.
I ask because I saw my visually...
In your eBay account, change your password. Log out of eBay and log back in, it won't recognize your saved password and will prompt you to enter one - enter your new password, making sure the "remember" box isn't checked - and there you are!
If you were especially fond of the first...
I tried this question in the email issues group, with no responses, any help here?

I thnk the issue was losing the log-on window when one uses a 'NULL' password. I certainly am logged into windows and my network, just don't have to view and answer the password entry each time I restart the machine.
Well, I went into settings>control panel>network and added a Microsoft Network client that I didn't need and Network Neighborhood is aware of its surroundings once again.
I had the same problem with the log-on screen. So I moved the *.pwl files to another folder (rather than deleting them), restarted, clicked 'OK' when prompted for a password, rebooted and yeah! no more password requests.
Now, however, Network Neighborhood only shows me the 'Entire Network'...
And, thanks again for help. The wireless network is up and running after a few false starts configuring Network Neighborhood {'read the book' applies to me here}. File and printer sharing working, ran an install program that was on the laptop in a shared folder from the desktop and it worked...
I am in the process of establishing a wireless home network between a desktop and a laptop for file/printer/internet sharing. Is there any method I can use to run programs that are installed on the desktop from the laptop. In most cases the EULA will allow programs to be installed on both, but...
