10-4, good way to remember it! Thanks!
I've tried ever combo known to man and some not known to man with special permissions and could not get it to work.
Quick question hopefully. Can I set the special permissions on a folder in Windows Server 2003 / WinXP where the user can open a file and view the contents, but not change the contents or copy the contents or copy the file from the directory or change the file? Essentially I just want them to be...
We want to create a running sum over a group and are not sure if we have the criteria correct. Anyone have any ideas?
The groups are identified in the field tps cat.
CODE:
Total percent: DSum("[Summary Log cost info 4]![percent]","[Summary Log cost info 4]","[Tons per stems] > .5")
If you added group x to the sharing tab with change/read permission on a particular folder and left the security tab at default. Will group x be able to gain access and work with folder x across the network?
What exactly is the difference between the Sharing and Security tab? The sharing tab gives access to the folder over the network while the security tab gives access locally on the machine itself. Is this correct?
I'm trying to figure out the best way to give a group access to a folder on my...
2K and XP.
Net Send doesn't let me use an IP Range though.
I found one called "Net Send Messenger 1.1", but it's kind of slow to watch it click through the IP Addresses.
Anyone have any LAN/WAN Popup/Message broadcasting tools? I'd like to find on that will work with a range of IP addresses, vs computer names/groups/workgroups etc..
For example I'd like to send message "test" to 111.111.111.1 - 111.111.111.254, and then have the message "test" popup on the...
Thanks Jeff, I added the code:

to the beginning of the webpage and it does work, but I still have to have all the users refresh one last time just to make the...
I know how to make the web page refresh on time using -> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="600">. But, how do you make the web page refresh only ONCE when the page first loads?
Im having a problem, when I update my index.html page, my users don't see the changes until they refresh. IE on the...
Better late than never, I didn't post back when I figured the problem out, but "fpdbrgn1.inc" was giving me grief when it was replaced whenever I would use the DRW in Frontpage. I replaced this file with a backup and everything started working fine!

I have a TS installed and everything is working fine. The TS is part of the domain. I have the TS License server installed on the Domain Controller in the domain. The Domain Controller/TS License server is activated. Why are the clients not showing up in the license server manager? I have all...
Anybody know where the policy setting is that will remove the "Programs" group from the Start menu? Or if there is one? I would like to use a policy setting and not get into the registry.
Thanks

Thanks for the response, I should have stated that I would like to do the change without coding access. I was looking for more like a registry entry or something to prevent it from happening. Thanks again though!

Is there a way to Turn off confirm "record changes" and "action queries" for ALL users in Microsoft Access 97/XP. Everytime a new user logs in, you have to turn these options off under every user profile, and this is really aggrevating. Any ideas?
Thanks
