sounds like a bad tape.....
do u use the same tape for the full that failed on the incremental(if not the tape used for incremental is bad)
check /nsr/logs for all messages in messages and in
daemon.log
I've had it happen to me ...but all I did was an:
nsrjb -L -S(slot number) to retry the relabeling and most
of the time it works if not I would try another tape(maybe
bad tape) the reason the * is there is there was a problem
in the labeling so try the nsrjb command above if it works...
wow a lot of work from all the other suggestions all i do is:
from command line type nwrecover
then: click on tree
then: expand 1 level
then: click on f/s to recover
then: click green lite to short
then: click ok
after installing legato server software on p660 aix 4.3.3
i then attempt to run jbconfig but there is not an
entry to pick for san just scsi? how do i configure a
lto jukebox with 12 devices (3580's) or lto ultrium???
nsr thinks hostname is elsie(it used to be) but it is now
oracle1 ....nsr has expired it's license due to this and
now we don't know why this hostname mixup??? we type
hostname on server and get oracle1? backups won't run
need help now if possible ...anyone out there?????
